- Research different programs in Ireland that match your interests.
- Be prepared to discuss your program ideas at your first advising appointment with a Scholar Mentor.
- Identify 4 recommendation writers.
- Schedule an advising appointment with Lesha Greene at leg78@pitt.edu to discuss programs, candidate profile, and recommendation letter writers (get on calendar now for all appointments).
- Read every page on the Mitchell website.
- Network with faculty (if possible) and former students in your program of interest in Ireland.
- May–August

- Work on application and essay drafts.
- The essay must be your own work.
- Complete your supporting documents, application, short answers, and list of activities.
- Meet with a Scholar Mentor to review your application components.
- Order your transcripts from all universities attended.
- Early August

Email complete application via attachments to Lesha at leg78@pitt.edu to be considered for endorsement.
- Late September

- FINAL APPLICATIONS DUE for all University-endorsed students (email ALL final materials to Aidan).
- Submit your final application through the Mitchell online system.
