Churchill Scholarship

Funding for one year of graduate study/research in STEM fields (broadly defined) at Churchill College at the University of Cambridge. Churchill Scholars are chosen for their outstanding academic achievement, proven talent in research, capacity to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, and array of talents and activities outside of academic pursuits.

Deadlines

• Internal Pitt Deadline: September 1, 2024
• Final Deadline: Late October/early November every year

Begin Today 

• Research different programs at Cambridge that match your interests; look at programs in various departments. Be prepared to discuss your program ideas at your first Scholar Mentor advising appointment. 
• Identify 4 recommendation writers.
• Identify your support team.
• Schedule a minimum of 3 advising appointments (virtually or in person) with Lesha throughout the summer to discuss drafts and letter of recommendation writers (get on calendar now for all appointments).
• Read every page on the Churchill website.
