April 20 — Mississippi Teacher Corps

Offers a two-year program that trains non-education majors to teach in high-poverty public schools in Mississippi while working on a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Mississippi. 

May 1 – Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience (SURFiN)

Funds paid, in-person research assistantships in Neuroscience labs for undergraduate students whose backgrounds and experiences are underrepresented in science. Fellows earn up to $7,500 at a rate of $25/hour for 10 hours a week over 30 weeks of the academic year and includes career development activities alongside their lab mentors. 

2025 TBA (May 13, 2024) – Milkweed Fellowship

A paid, one to two-year immersion program designed to offer the tools, experience, and exposure necessary to pursue a career in book publishing.   

May 31 – Global Wales Post Graduate Scholarships 

Offers scholarships worth up to £10,000 to study a full-time master's program in any field of studies in Wales. 

June 1 (internal deadline) – Marshall Scholarship

Offers up to 50 fully funded scholarships annually to U.S. citizens for graduate study at a British university in all fields of study who are academically strong candidates with demonstrated leadership and aim to strengthen the special relationship between the U.K. and the U.S. Pitt nomination is required to apply.  

July 1 (internal deadline) – Rhodes Scholarship

Offers a fully funded period of study of two or more years at Oxford for talented individuals who demonstrate academic excellence; energy to use their talents to the full; truth, courage, devotion to duty; moral force of character, and have demonstrated leadership not only within their field of study but also their outside the classroom endeavors. Pitt nomination is required to apply.

August 24 (internal deadline) – Fulbright U.S. Student Program

Provides opportunities for seniors, grad students, and recent alums to study at the graduate level, conduct research, or teach English in a country abroad. Pitt nomination highly recommended.
