September 2024 Deadlines

Sept. 19 — Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship Program 

Offers funding for graduate programs in international affairs for students committed to a career in the U.S. Foreign Service. 

Sept. 26 — Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship 

Provides academic and professional preparation for outstanding students interested in entering the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service 

Oct. 8 — Fulbright U.S. Student Program 

Awards a year of funding to students for study, research, or teaching English in the classroom abroad. 

Oct. 10 — Gilman Scholarship

Provides funding for Pell grantees to study abroad. 

Oct. 16 — National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) 

Awards $37,000 a year for 3 years to seniors and first- and second-year grad students in STEM 

Oct. 24 — The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship 

Provides support for two years of graduate school for students pursuing careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). 

Nov. 1 — American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellowships and Grants Program 

Provides funding for American students, scholars, professionals and artists for one year of study and/or research in any discipline in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands or Greenland. 

Nov. 15 — Mississippi Teacher Corps

Offers a two-year program that trains non-education majors to teach in high-poverty public schools in Mississippi while working on a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Mississippi.
